    Raining here. I knew it was going to. My knees got all twitchy. They forecast rain better than the tv weatherman.
     Last night I discovered that the asparagus knife I was bought(and never used) is really useful for slicing through the root ball of avens to remove them. A lot easier than using a fork to lever them out of clay.

    Sun is out here after a windy, wet night but it's still not warm.
    Hope it heats up a bit for your hols Dove.

    According to the  Met Office there may well be a warm spell for our hols ... but they're not certain ... yet ...

    My daughter just rang. She visited John in hospital today and he is very angry. He keeps pulling the oxygen tube out and keeps trying to pull out the IV. Wants daughter to take him home. She’s very upset and doesn’t want to visit him tomorrow.  I wish the morphine would kick in.
