In now to put shorts on, I’ve just had an orange for lunch, cut it up on a plate, (very civilised 😀) there was some juice on the plate so rather than waste it, ........ didn’t  realise I could ever miss my mouth😀
The  bees are going to love me outside.

Ear muffs?   Sounds unpleasant.  Is it being treated or left to its own devices?

I am smelly now.  French primer is much thicker and gloppier than Homebase's own brand which I used last time I painted a wardrobe and the roller kept dropping bits of fluff so, now that I've cleaned my hands with white spirit, they pong a bit and I have what looks like a French manicure on half my nails.

Off to do a bit of rust before I get really clean and sweet smelling for dance class.

Hi folks, Lovely day here, been spending Secondborn's money at the garden centre.  Bought a load of plants and have been busy planting up 9 pots and a window box for her.  Second load of washing is on and I'm now collapsed on the sofa.  Her local plant nursery is really good so I'm sure I will be paying another visit in the not too distant future.

    Evenin' all.
Nice day again here after another chilly-ish night - not to last till the end of the weekend I believe, but looking ok for a walk on Saturday - hurrah!
Obelixx - yes working - not been off. I was able to sew no problem, as I could rest my arm on the desk [left hand does most of the footering/moving around] and since starting the physio, when it was getting a bit better anyway, I'm using the arm more normally. Just odd things that I can't do. Driving was ok, except while the ribs were painful because of changing gear. It's a short trip to work, and not too awkward anyway. To be honest, the ribs were more of an issue than the b***ered muscles/ligaments, and the broken bit of bone is still stuck to a ligament and isn't an issue at all.  :)
Lyn - missing your  mouth is just a sign of old age. That's what I tell myself anyhoo..... ;)
That must be sore Wonks. I'm fortunate that I've never had ear infections - or not that I'm aware of.

    Evening all!

Lovely day here too, though not hot - 0.7C overnight.  Fortunately the runner beans are still on the living room windowsill.  Spent the morning volunteering in the park, cleaning up the well we "found" a couple of years ago.  (It was on the old maps, and there was a sort of path leading to where we thought it ought to be, so a bit of archaeology was done.  Fun!)  The Heritage Lottery money is paying for a history trail round the park, so the well is included; but the blokes making a path covered up the interesting historical stuff, since they understood Paths but not History.  We've uncovered it again and it's looking good...

Hope the ear clears up quickly, Wonky.  Not nice...

Do you have a spare room you can retire to, when the snoring gets too irritating, Obelixx?  I find it's essential!

We currently have a large rectangular hole in our roof, awaiting a new skylight.  The frame of the old one was completely rotten, which might explain some of the drips in the spare room... the hole is covered with roofing felt, waterproof but somewhat dark.  Hopefully they'll get hold of the right size replacement soon.
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

I do, in theory, Liri but Possum's bed is unmade and covered in stuff cos I've moved furniture round in there so I can paint the new wardrobe in there, away from dust, dogs and cats.  Smelly after the primer.  The spare bedroom has a stack of bedding on its bed and boxes of pictures and mirrors we won't hang until the other rooms are decorated and the future downstairs bedroom is full of shower room fittings and no bed while we wait for the bl**dy builder to come and finish the shower room.   I may curl up on a sofa if OH snores tonight!

That path does look good.  Love the big slabs and all those ferns too.   Hope it stays dry till you get your skylight fixed.

FG - I know about ribs.  Serious pain!  Ouch.  I cracked 3 of mine years ago practising for a riding competition, sponsored for charity, so the next day I did dressage in the morning and jumping in the pm.   The judge knew about the ribs and asked if it hurt.  "Only when I breathe".   Changing gear was fun on the drive home and, of course, OH was away on a rugby tour for Easter.

Yvie - lovely way to spend a day.   Shopping for us too tomorrow but not, unfortunately, plants altho there should be doings for raised beds and a fruit cage......

    Morning all!
Yesterday saw my man handling a little tree into the back of the truck and driving as though I had a China doll strapped to the bonnet less I loose any leafs.

    The reason why?
I got to "present" it to one of the hospital wards (Bassetlaw) that is currently trying to find funding to renovate it's outdoor space into a garden for patients (the ward in question is a long term rehabilitation ward) and their families to enjoy.

It coincides with work (Royal Voluntary Service) turning 80 and the NHS turning 70 so a nice gesture to mark the occassion.

    I'm the tall one!

Great tree for a great cause Clari - is it an apple?

Great path too Liri - archeological digging sounds fun !

Booked our Eurostar for the upcoming bank holiday last night - we’re taking our bikes for some cycling in Holland - basing ourselves in Utrecht.  Very excited 😜🚴‍♀️🚴🏻‍♂️
