I’m in bed early tonight; we’re of to Canberra for a couple of days tomorrow and have an early morning to face. 😖
not sure I’ll be able to catch up with the Forkers while there .
Dove I finished knitting my son’s jumper this afternoon, but ran out of zip when it came to sewing it up. Pity, as we will be lunching with him tomorrow. The neck worked out ok. Not sure what he will think about it, but too bad if he doesn’t like it. It might be used by me. 🙄

LG I saw your post about the Karcher and forgot.
I reckon your main problem will be doofer wrangling rather than weight. There are hosey bits and poley bits so take some strong tape or something to tie it all together. Have you a wheelie week-end case. That might help with some of the accoutrements!  I'm so sorry but I'm getting visions of Frank Spencer.... He would have made a fine job of it.

Ha ha PP - I can imagine I might be doing a mean Frank Spencer imitation then! I've got a wheelie trolley (70s pensioner style) - do you reckon I might fit the whole thing in it? Or would I be better taking a big IKEA bag to sling over my shoulder? Thanks for the tips though, much appreciated - at least I can aim to be partially prepared now :).

Just came in from the garden having cleared the patio (my goodness I've got a lot of pots. I had no idea) and swept it. Pots etc are all in the veg beds for 48 hours now, and then I'll move them all back. A very fulfilling day.

You'd probably get the bits in the bag (poley bits). The joiny-up hosey bit may take some taming. It's pressure hose so resistant to curling up too small. The yellow bit you can carry like a handbag I suppose.  You're going to be a right picture!
With any luck it will have on-board storage but you'll be glad to get home. Make sure you empty it and don't lug spare water around.  :D
I've had a look at some pictures and there are two lances and a gun on most of them. You'll be fine.....

Lovely photo Punk. My oh is busy sorting out thousands of photos to out onto memory sticks. Keep busy, with your collection it will bring back happy memories of places have visited. Keep planning!
I have had to have a day out of the garden, we have worked flat out for the last three days and can hardly stand up!
so nice to have sunshine for a change.

Been at patchwork group today for a day of Hardanger embroidery.   Fiendish stuff but I now have a key ring and am thinking about a cushion cover.  Cold all day cos the heating's off in public buildings now and it hasn't been warm enough to penetrate the tick stone walls.   Brrr!

Home via a garden centre to collect a few more ground cover plants for a dry bed round the well and then Thai curried prawns for dinner to warm us up.   Maybe some gardening tomorrow if it warms up.

Great photo Pdoc.  Sorry about the lost hols but I agree, best to concentrate on smaller, more local pleasures for now.

DD - lovely black gold.  Hope it works well for you.  I need a lorry load for ours soon.  Best start looking.

LG - Karchers aren't heavy but can be awkward but it should come packed up.

I hope everyone's had a good day and we all get some warm weather soon and not too cold and dry for Pat and Glenys..

Internet playing up here.  They're laying fibre optic cables all over the Vendée - not here yet but getting closer - and it seems things will get worse before they get better and, judging by comments form patchwork friends who already have it, the system and change over are less than perfect.   Meanwhile, mobile phones and email and forum a bit hit and miss.
