We are freezing here. Wind from a southern “low” and the strong wind is carrying sleet with the rain.😡 I can’t win. Need the rain but don’t need the cold temps. It’s snowing in the ski fields in both NSW and Vic.
Staying inside with the wood heater keeping us company.
After a beautiful day here yesterday it's now forecast rain all day. I'm going to a flower show this afternoon so doubly disappointed. I don't get out often and to rain when I do is just not fair!
Must dash, lot of prep to do so I can leave the building in safe hands. Have a good day all, walking, hairdressing & wedding shopping! Bonne journée Chicky!

Bon voyage chicky - ir should that be 'chic' ky... Morning all/afties Pat. Sorry it's so chilly for you. We're still cool here, 5 or 6 degrees at present but sunny, down to 3 overnight, but we seem to be out of the worst stuff now - apart from the highest hills which still have snow. Looking to be a pretty good day so I'm off to Glen Lyon soon. Arrochar LP . You always hear cuckoos there in spring. They were calling to each other on the lower slopes of Beinn an Lochain when I was on Donich Shame about your rain DD. Maybe it'll clear up for you though. Better go and do my exercises and get going. Have a fabulous day outside if you have the weather for it.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

Morning all. late on parade due to plant IDs, soz. Brighter today so hopefully not so cold. I had to wear gloves yesterday when I was cutting the grass. My poor wee fingies were freezing. Have a lovely trip Chicky and a good weekend one and all.
We started cutting grass yesterday morning, I planted out 18 plants, then the rainy season started and set in for the day, today doesn’t look much better, I am wearing fingerless mitts indoors!
Gardening on the wild, windy west side of Dartmoor.
Bit drismal here today and set to last all day but deliver a whole 3mm of rain. I'm off to buy some proper primer for the wardrobe I'm renovating.
Need to pot up the 5 new achilleas as their bed isn't ready yet but they are bursting and then I'll plant out the drought tolerant thingummies I bought for the well bed.
Enjoy your hills and plant fairs and whatever else you're all up to.

Lovely sunny day, OH has decided she wants to help today, so should get lots done. I shall mainly be issuing instructions, she will be the cheap labour.
Hope you have a good walk fairy. Enjoy Paris Chicky.
