Give her time Joyce! I've had live baby rabbits, dead moles, slow worms, frogs, assorted rodents and a weasel. I once came home to find on cat had rounded up 6 pheasants and had them hopping up and down on the spot in long grass. Had to clap my hands to remind them they could fly. Stupid birds.
Very pleased for Pdoc. Onwards and upwards. How's Mrs P?

Thanks for your kind thoughts. Moira is ok. Obelixx. Fairly stressed about the job situation and caring for me, but remaining up beat. She is made of strong stuff. Just in from the greenhouse where the Dahlias are finally starting to sprout, which is exciting.
How can you lie there and think of England When you don't even know who's in the team
Echoed here . Love to you both. Weve spent a lovely day with Wonky and her lovely hubbie I their beautiful garden. All our baby toms and sweetcorn are safe in her greenhouse now until we come back from Cornwall at the end of the month.

Have to say The Post is a brilliant film, mind you I don't think I've seen Tom Hanks in a bad one. Off to Malvern Spring Show tomorrow. Looking forward to it.
Glad it's good news P'doc.
Two reasons I'm not a cat person. Things being dragged into the house (dead or alive) and climbing on worktops etc. Firstborn is a cat person, I'm definitely a dog person.
Looks like it's beans for tea! Renal function has stabilised, so great sense of relief.
Fab news doc - for you both. Relax a bit this evening and enjoy it x Glad you're feeling ok today Joyce. Take it easy Enjoy your weekend Liri. Hope you have a great time. Only 5 or 6 degrees overnight here too Obelixx. It was higher a few times last week, but low to mid single figures is the norm at this time of year. At least today was bright and sunny and double figures, and a good breeze for the washing. Much healthier I was feeling quite impatient about the sweet peas I've sown direct, but most of them have now germinated. A bit of regular warmth and they'll be away. One of the cats we used to have appeared with a young rabbit at the door one day. He had no idea what it was and I managed to rescue it. No idea how he caught it because that b*gger couldn't catch cold.... How do you use your verbena AuntyR? Not something I've ever grown.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
We had a cat that brought moles through the cat flap into the big porch and then let them go ... they usually managed to find the narrow gap under the drain cover and get stuck in the drain where they expired and began to decompose
The other cat managed to open the gerbil cage and assassinate both gerbils and left them on the door mat for little Wonky and her brother to find

Pdoc - I hope Moira is successful with her job hunting. My dahlias are finally sprouting too - all but 2 that is.
I have had a very lazy day here. Flolopped, cuddled dogs and done a manicure to get rust curing product out from under my nails - almost.
Glad you're feeling ok today Joyce. Take it easy
