Obs, a very kind lady from the bus brought me back across the road and made me coffee after the bus driver got out and stopped the traffic both ways until we crossed the road. Rather embarrassing!

Oh Joyce, sorry to hear that - sounds a bit traumatic :(. Glad someone helped you out though.

Afternoon everyone. Just got back from college. It was a bit of a struggle today - not feeling very well. I lasted through, but am glad to be home.

Seconding Obxx as regards the ants, Clari. They farm them and protect them from other predators in order to get the honeydew. Not a good combination, in my garden, anyway. I don't kill ants outside, just try to deter them and keep them away from aphid farming!

Warm and sunny here today, but not as hot as it's been and with a nice breeze. Still well into the 20s. I'm glad it's not hotter as I'm feeling so anaemic I think I would have fainted if it was.

Interesting about the acidic strawberries. Lovely orchids, Wonky. Sorry to hear you've been poorly, Liri. And b**&*r about the  acer, Chicky

A gin would go nicely with that, or maybe a Pimms.

The scone would go down well Dove.
A single malt in preference to the gin though :)

    Fantastic.
Gin first and then a Bowmore Darkest after dinner.
    Get well soon.
