Re the Lemon Verbena @Fairygirl, I purchased it at a plant fair last September so this is the first whole season I have had it. It’s in a pot, as I knew it would have to be brought in over Winter. I did make lemon tea but plan to try it in cakes. It smells delicious.

    Excellent news, Punkdoc!   :D

The roofer says he's coming tomorrow... I'll believe it if I see it.   :/

Can't keep my eyes open.  Good night all!

Great news Pdoc.   Also very excited that I recognise the lyrics in your signature for the very first time  :D. Good old Roddy  B)

i bought a lemon verbena last year and loved the tea - lemon sherbert in a mug.  Plants have survived the winter in the GH, but are just shooting now, and don’t look nearly as lush as yours AuntyRach.

I'd have to disagree. In Nature, animals kills for food, or to feed their young. Domestic cats kill for fun.

Good morning all  :) another glorious morning here, but Tomasz Schafernaker has just told me that some if you have rain this morning.
I think I must water my beetroot seedlings this morning.

    Hello all,

Read back quite a lot but must dash now, msrkrmday here and often get a lot in for English Breakfast. Enjoying all your news, so much going on with everyone.

Garden project continues here, out until dark. Sometimes I feel I've made loads of progress, other times I fret so much yet  to do. Nature of gardening I suppose. Think I might have lost a box bush, covered in caterpillars, munching like crazy. Serious squidging took place, but may be too late.

Must go, no cat food, Cupcake and Sprinkles not happy. Bank holiday here yesterday, no shops open so when I realized I'd used last packet too late, of course croquettes not good enough for them, fuss pots.
Have a good day all, I'll be back later.
