Afties all - I think I've probably missed Pat....
Cold here too Ppauper - gey windy. I believe you're getting rain later [if you haven't got it already] so kindly keep it to yourself.  ;)
It's bright, but that's about as good as it gets. The washing getting a good blow on the whirly anyway. Hope I don't have to go down the road to catch any of it later... :D
The verbena sounds nice AuntyR but I'm too lazy to try it - it would need protection over winter, and I just can't be a**ed!
I have some white drumstick primula seeds to sow. Felt they'd make a nice addition for this time of year - following the crocus and snowdrops etc - and they'd provide a little height behind the low stuff in the narrow back border.
Some trees here still to get their summer coats doc, but the whitebeams are beginning to look good. I love those. Everything is trying to get green though which is lovely.
More physio today and she's very pleased with my progress. More exercises to do and more often, so I may have to get up an hour earlier to fit them all in!

Hi FG. Peed all day here and half an hour ago the sun came out. Bit b****y late now!!! It's to get down to around 2° tonight! Marvellous.
Good to hear your injuries are improving. Progress will be slow but it'll still be progress.

Thanks Pp. Yes - good improvement, but it'll be several months for the arm to be back to near normal. It's not quite so restrictive as it was though   :)
I spoke too soon - the rain's on here now. Washing was nearly dry though - only been out a couple of hours! Nighttime temps are still low here too, about 4 to 6, but that's pretty standard. Weather looking a bit better at the weekend, although not terribly warm. This is when we often get a good spell of weather, so fingers crossed eh?

Wonky and I have been t'internet shopping ... phoning, texting and emailing each other with links ... two of her cousins are getting married, one at the end of this month and one at the end of next.  Wonky and her Lovely Hub will be representing this branch of the family at the first one as we'll be away and her Bro is likely to be working ... she's found a lovely dress and I found her some shoes ... now she just needs to find a hat but I think she'll go into town and try them on ... can't buy hats online  :/

Hello everyone.  Glad you're healing well FG and that you'll be seeing your daughter Joyce.   Been out all day and weary now
    .

No meeces here last night and I slept right thru from 11ish to 9 am.  We’ve been to Les Sables d’Olonne for the fruit, veg and fish market and picked up some clams to have with spaghetti this evening and a gurnard to have tomorrow night.   Then a lovely stroll along the front – heaving with people sunbathing in jumpers and even woolly hats as it’s sunny but breezy and feels cold.  Loads in the water too and assorted “animations” along the beach and the promenade.   There’s a Polynesian thing going on with Pacific canoe races and people selling leis and Hawaiian fabrics.  Unfortunately the patterns I liked were 65% polyester and I didn’t like any of the 100% cotton.   On round to the port and lunch and then a stroll back thru the centre to the car.   Supermarket run done and a quick pop into a GC for some trailing geraniums for my front door pots, sunny plants for the well bed and 5 colourful achilleas for somewhere else.

Home now and needing decaf coffee and maybe a snoozle before walkies but first to check the toms and maybe leave off their lids as it's expected to stay above 11C tonight and maybe even rain..…..

Fairy :D   Glad you're on the mend.

Warm weather for Cornwall has been booked starting next Friday  B)  Let's hope it's across the whole UK ... although I don't want it hot in my garden ... I'm leaving some plants to fend for themeselves!!!

Hubby just home so I've made him a cuppa in readiness after his hard day's toil in the shop.
Chucking it down here now. Sooooooooooo pleased the weather forecast was spot on " rain arriving at 1pm" , indeed it did.
Do please take it easy @Fairygirl. As my dear late Mother would have said , " Act in haste : repent at leisure"
