I've been lazing on the sunlounger in the shade (shade-lounger???) for the past three hours ... first reading Saturday'sand then I got stuck into a light paperback I was saving for our holiday ... however it's turned a bit cooler now so I've come indoors ... the village is very quiet for a Saturday ........

Daughter has just left for home with pots of plants, which we had split up, and pots of Acidanthera I had planted for her. Going to relax in the sun while we have it.

I's raining here and cool.  I've been out to buy a good primer for the wardrobe but then got stuck in the midday noise curfew so couldn't do the last bit of sanding and oiling before starting.    Got distracted by baking carrot, banana and cardamom cakes for tomorrow's mosaic class and patchwork on Monday so now I need to stay close to hear the timer.

I really fancied doing something good and mucky but may have to sew instead - for the next 45 minutes anyway.

Just beginning to drizzle now ... dashed out and got the washing in while OH brought the lounger inside. ... knitting and Midsomer Murders will have to suffice ...

    Been nice here.
I have decided I enjoy being bossy. I have been placing plants where i want them and getting Moira to dig the holes for me.
Have also done some weeding, from a prostrate position, and pricked out a few more seedlings.
Rain expected shortly, which is just as well, all this senior management stuff, is very stressful :)

Hi its starting to feel like winter here but not as cold as Pat's,we still have not had any rain again so the garden is looking really dry. Its to cold to sit outside now, but yesterday i did a lot of clearing pots out and taking them to the local nursery. I am beening lazy today and catching up on my e-mails and now come on to the forum. Pdoc you sound a lot more perky and its shows in your letters hope you feel more perky

    Afternoon all.
Just popped in to make Hubby a cuppa. He finishes work at 4 so will be home shortly.
I've planted some irises in " the allotment" and even got a few Hostas moved out of the tunnel and planted.
Leftover curry has been consumed too for a late lunch.
Sunny intervals here but no rain and vaguely warmish.

Just popped in to make mine a cuppa as well, turned out nice after a grey cold start.
more tomatoes in their final growing places. Had to pull cabbages and carrots out first so loads of freezing to be done.
