  • What a pretty little dog. That young lady looks as if she has a mind of her own! 🦊

Oh yes very sure of what she wants,..she heads out into the garden and runs around the paths,..then does it again more slowly examining everything,..her domain lol.

  • Terrapin spotting,..including doggy walk.

Just left of the bush is where the Terrapin is.

Its understandable how nobody else spotted anything except Ducks.

    Yep,..one Duck and one Terrapin.

Why is it that I read your thread in a soft Irish accent in my head even though I am Scottish? Never mind, I read it every night before I go to bed. Thanks for your garden and of course Foxy Molly, Philip.

@Purplerain,..your very kind,..thank you for looking in each night,..some say that if you view Philips videos you are guaranteed to get some sleep lol,..i hope its just the music they refer to and not the content  :):),..as for the soft Irish accent,..not too sure if i can let you check that out but i will try,..first clip below is Leicestershire Guild Hall,..England with a friend and her Mom.

The second clip is just me talking to myself or the sheep.

Its very hard to speak out loud when there are just sheep listening,..it is talking to ones self lol.

Lol did poor molly ever get over her fear of sheep?
  • @Mary370,..always scared of sheep,..while i was off walking with the sheep Molly remained with the boat,..strange thing horses being bigger you would think she would be scared of them,..not a bit,..that location was on Hare Island,..Lough Ree.
  • Hibiscus 'Woodbridge',..blooming better each day while the remainder of the garden blooms are fading away.

    With visiting Bee.

At the front of my house there really isn't what one would call a garden,..just an open plan zig-zag section,..so i just planted some extra stuff from the back garden,..Oxalis pink,..Campanula,..Sweet Alyssum,..plus a Variegated Geranium which never stops flowering.

This year the Hollyhocks didn't develop the full Hollyhock Rust?,..just a few specks of it and dark specks,..not that i believe because the seeds came from New Zealand,..just a thought.

Traditional Autumn started here on August 1st.
Official Autumn begins on Sept 21st.

Just as I imagined Philip, but you were getting a right telling of from the sheep. Thanks for putting it up.

  • @Purplerain,..i should be thanking you re the short clips as i had not logged into Photobucket for more than a year,..its very handy for keeping short clips and then posting them,..rather than have them on YouTube.

Oh yes those sheep were very vocal lol.

Dahlia 'Scarlet/Yellow',..just beginning to show more than the single bloom it has shown for weeks,..i overwinter this plant in the greenhouse.

Tigridia pavonia 'Mexican Shell Flower/Tiger Flower'.

  • Doggy walk.

    Looking downriver,..Buddleja davidii 'Butterfly Bush'.

Galium palustre elongatum 'Bedstraw' ( Great Marsh )

    Lysimachia vulgaris 'Garden Loosestrife'.

    What?,..i was sleeping!

Meanwhile back in the garden,..less and less blooms and so the paths are more visible,..cooler weather now,..well at least 30C=84F is cooler than of the past few weeks.
