Dug out patches for sweet peas and stuck in the arch for them, planted out six sweet peas (forgot to pinch them off and mulch).

    Planted out nasturtia.

Shifted cherry tree from working bucket to bucket with holes in.

Laid bricks and moved bike shed base, but need one or two others to shift the rest.

Moved/turned the whole compost heap.  My lord that is a piece of work, smelly but two hours and done. Nice to see some heat and red worms in there somewhere.

Front and back gardens feel like they are taking shape.

You have been busy Tin Pot! Well done.

I repotted a clematis as I'm not sure it's ready for the ground yet. I split and replanted Primula...and not much else although I've been out there since 9am.

Too dismal and wet to enjoy the garden. (The weather that is, not me! :D) Every time the cat comes in she has a fresh set of small slugs attached to her fur, so it is probably slime patrol later.
  • Luckier with our weather today after almost continual rain yesterday - still plenty to do. We split and repotted a house plant, potted an Azalea given to me yesterday, sowed more courgette seeds, moved some bedding plants outside to harden off ready to pot up next week if the weather is favourable.
  • Did some bindweeding and selective weeding, depending who it was and where.

Tinkered with the pond, need the water level to drop before I can plant things and rearrange the beach.

Replanned next year's bulbs, my wish list and bulbs I already have that need moving or decanting from pots. My tulip border is unimpressive, too many alliums. I won't meddle with it if the allium stage is acceptable though.

Think I'm about settled on 3 new roses for the back garden after some research, won't buy until next bare root time though.

I cleared an old patio area I'm gradually renovating. One less junk corner in the garden, so I'm feeling very pleased. Planted a lady of shallot rose, and guided a few frogs out of harm's way in the process.

A big dump run done. A new bed almost ready to put in hesperis and ammi, hellebores and anemone hup. I'm so impatient to get everything in.

    Sheps, you are so neat!

I planted Sarah Bernhardt (Peony) in my garden after nurturing her from near death in a bag on the gurney in Wilkos. It's about two years since I bought it.
I am hoping but they are really slow to get going.

Some interesting plants there Cagzo - post some pictures when they are in situ if you can.

We transferred about 80 daffodil bulbs into the edge of the car park and border.  We planted a new hedge (1), we call it the crinkly hedge - Oleria - the wrens like nesting in it's dense structure. Just as we are planting more trees and hedging our neighbours are having a bank of brambles, weeds and nesting sites for birds, hedgehogs etc ripped out. There are probably a few rat and mice nests in their bank too, no doubt the cat will find them.
