I wish he would open his garden on a weekday sometime, l think l am right in saying that it is only open on occasional weekends which is difficult for me. It looks a beautiful garden.

    Maybe one day.... :)
  • Nice day today. I was waiting in for deliveries and breaking my back over unachievable household chores (also banged my head) 😠 but popped out for a stroll and it was super nice after the rain.

Moved some bulb pots about. Sun is starting to get into the garden now so I've arranged them around the garden to get some warmth and hurry them on a bit 🙂

Had the balance of a plant order arrive, some fancy camassia I don't have, potted. Don't think I've ever bought potted bulbs before. Also a geranium I'll test and see if it's any good and a scabious to replace one I used to have, think I moved it and it died.

Found a place to put my climbing aconitum. I dug it up and potted it as it had a bad year last year and thought it might be unsalvageable. It's come back to life however.

Patrolled the garden seeing what's up already. Looking forward to seeing all my old plants again 😊

  • Patrolling the garden is the most I can do at present because it's so wet.  But it's lovely to see how the snowdrops and cyclamen, frozen to minus 8 last week, have popped back up as beautiful as ever.   :)
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
  • Went on allotment  on Wednesday  as it was so mild. Just intended  to harvest some veg! Ended up with digging over all the beds with green manure in. Back in the garden added 6 yellow  primulas into a half barrel  display  in the front  garden.  Soil still frozen a couple of  inches down.
