    GWRS, a bit windy would not describe what we are getting in Stockton N.E. A right Hooley at the moment we are getting what Scotland has turned away. People are walking past with a full 45 degree lean as my trees whip them, they do say a whipping with branches is good for you I do not hear cries of joy. Better take a box of nails and make sure the roof is well fastened.

    Ah, if you have a quote, I don't see it. I have all quotes turned off in the settings.

    A spit of wet is all we are getting so far here today.  It is a grey and breezy day - I wish it would just rain for a few hours rather than this nondescript almost but not quite damp air that isn't good for anything least of all the thousands of cruise ship passengers today or my gardening plans for the day.

    It rained a lot in the night here,and has freshened everything.It was badly needed. No wind to speak of,so nothing has snapped off.

    Frank , definitely just a bit of wind   have just come in from dead heading in Garden 
    The last time we experienced a wind like yours  was when we had a cottage by Hadrian Walls , one step forward and 2 backwards , I’d check that roof  ;)
