Hello All. Nora has asked me to start a new weather thread as the last one, version 2, is getting very full. So here it is.

We had huge storms last night, but this morning is sunny.

Here is the old thread: https://forum.gardenersworld.com/discussion/987237/what-is-your-weather-like-2/p300

Sunny spells and 16C here in Norfolk ... it's chilly when the sun goes in but we've been gardening for most of the day so far  :D
We've had a few heavy showers this afternoon, therte's a bit of a breeze and it's definitely cooler than it was.

hi from Scotland very sunny today but had thunder an lightning for about 1/2 an hour but fine now

Good morning , again overcast , hope it turns into another glorious day  B)
  • Overcast here too, with a sea mist.  It is a pity for the thousands of cruise ship passengers visiting here for the day.  There are plenty of museums on the island and outdoor music concerts for them to visit and church flower displays and open gardens and parks, but the beaches are too cool to sit on today, although nice to walk along.

Rain! Real rain for the first time in weeks. The garden will love it, my water butts too. I wis it would last all night. The sound of rain on the the roof is the best ever.
That’s got my vote. Gardens need rain, as do reservoirs. On my list this week is hacking back overgrowth between me and the water butt.  All good exercise!

Lovely surprise when I opened the bedroom blinds today, the Rambling Iceberg Rose is starting to bloom and another of my Bush Peony's had burst open, not quite as deep a red as the Rubra but a solid mass of buds some yet to open.
Stockton is sunny and warm again though a bit of a Northerly blowing though not too cool.
    Frank.
  • Lovely day here, calm, sunny and dry.  No rain for the past week but may get some on Thursday.

France has been having all the rain. Rain on Sunday, rain yesterday, not all the time, heavy showers. Just had a small thunderstorm, may not be quite over, but rain was very heavy. Wettest June ever and it's only the 12th. May was the wettest ever in Dordogne. It's been making the preparations for my Open Garden on Sunday very difficult. The pond in the paddock is overflowing, unheard of at this time of year.  Sorry for all those who have been flooded, must be awful.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
