Just had a thunder shower......rained heavily for about 40 minutes.  Badly needed.....it can keep raining for the night if it likes, just let the sun come back tomorrow.

Well, I'm waiting for the rain that's forecast - due over night. We've had weeks of lovely weather, we did have a wee drizzle one morning & some hazy mist that took a few hours to lift but apart from that, it's been dry & sunny & too hot!! West coast of Scotland, so not used to having to water the garden!

Yeah!! I am happy it's been a lovely sunny warm day and I managed to get outside to plant out some geraniums and begonias. They're not doing so well this year probably due to the weather. So I'm hoping with some more sunshine they'll look a bit happier. Just gave some surplus cosmos to my mum and some rudbeckia plants. I always try to cramas much in as possible but there's just not room for everything I sowed this year!! Hoping for some nice warm weather this week. Finger crossed.

Hot and sunny again. There was the promise of rain, but nothing. Now back to hot and sunny even at 7.30pm.

Rain! Real rain for the first time in weeks. The garden will love it, my water butts too. I wis it would last all night. The sound of rain on the the roof is the best ever.
