Plenty of rain overnight. We have three water butts, with the third being attached to a hose which trickle-feeds the pond. I expect the grass will grow like mad next week, so hope we have dry spell now so it can have a celebratory cut.
My garden and I live in South Wales.
  • Rain all day here, some heavy, at other times a fine drizzle.  Really great for the garden and the water butts but awful for those who had planned nature walks, sand castle competitions and an outdoor music concert. We don't usually do much work in the garden on Sunday but for those who do - such a shame the rain has come during the daytime.

A new downpour has just started, looks like it'll be a good one.

Got back from my daughter's this morning to find an overcast but dry day - tipping it down at hers.  Managed to get a few bits done and now its tipping it down at mine! Just got soaked closing the greenhouse, only been doing that this week and keep forgetting  :(

It was a lovely warm sunny day here today, got loads done in the garden.  Supposed to be very wet here from Wednesday for a few days, if it would only rain at night

We had a tremendous storm yesterday evening, the wind was terrible, so much debris in the garden afterwards. One of my S. Amistads broken for the second time this summer as I hadn't got around to staking it. Calmer today and less hot.
