A bright morning but it must have rained a little bit overnight. More due today, although the forecast is changing each time I look. Much cooler.

Absolutely poured down all night and great storms.
Sun is shining again, but at the moment it's cooler and much more bareable. Although temperatures are forecast to rise again.
Mary370 summer isn't over here yet and yes it's been forecast to go on till October. I'd love that, don't like winter clothes🤗

At last, must be about 22C out there and I've managed to do all the morning jobs without breaking into a sweat. Haven't felt this comfortable for weeks, might get some weeding done Hooray!  Still no rain though  :/

@Nanny Beach our temperatures have dropped from late 20's to late teens, even single digits at night! over the last 3 weeks.  Very heavy rain last night.  Looking at the forecast we're due for very stormy weather Thursday, Friday and Saturday.  Also noticed it's getting darker earlier, we have had a very abrupt end to our summer  :(
  • I've noticed the darker evenings now, been out a couple of times to water at 9.30 and can't see much!
Weve just had a couple of heavy showers here, and I'm wearing a corduroy skirt!!  Oh dear first of the winter clothes, thought I'd look a bit daft shopping in shorts this morning

Mix of sunshine and light showers here and lower, very acceptable temperature. I was able to do some cutting down and tying up without melting - lovely! Expecting proper rain later.

  • Far more bearable temperature here too - a sort of freshness to the air after the showers in the last 24 hours.  We gardened comfortably this morning without getting hot 'n' bothered, and I managed my first short walk around the area this afternoon, meeting like minded gardener on the way.  Bliss.

Sorry to those who like it hot, but glad to see the back of the heat, if only temporarily . Felled by a migraine yesterday, managed to avoid one for all this time by taking it steady. (Hot and humid does it for me). Much fresher today, quite breezy. No sign of any rain. Glos.
