Wild winds last night through to this afternoon.............very little rain though.  Glad I had tied in my roses earlier in week.

I posted much too soon as the rain/drizzle only lasted for 20 mins and that was that!
Sunshine for the rest of the day but windy.  So it was back out with the hosepipe tonight until it got dark.

Weather improving here but not that fast, at least the torrential downpours have stopped. I wish I could pump up some of our water from down here to you peeps who need it up there!
  • Still no rain here, fresher today but still lovely and we MIGHT have some rain tomorrow!

  • I know Allotment Boy, you wait all week for your weekend off and then it rains - same here, nice all week and now it is Saturday we have the first rain for a long while.  It isn't as if it is pouring, just a very fine drizzle, but enough to dampen everything including my enthusiasm for wanting to be outside.
