Happy now I've seen these! I'd forgotten what colours I'd brought and just shoved them in, only lidl cheep ones but very pretty! 😊
Bet an early coffee in the sun and peace was wonderful wasn't it Pdoc? I have sun but it's always noisy here! 😕 I hate cities! I have a tall gate and don't open the curtains on Side of the house that faces the road, and my garden is my sanctuary and it looks beautiful to me, but you can never block out the noise! Sound lovely where you are! 😊

Lovely tulips, wonky. I know what you mean about the road noise. Living near a motorway junction was hugely beneficial when I was working. Now I am retired it is just a noise. Next house will be more rural, but I will be needing more medical facilities as we get older, so it has to be a compromise.

Here you are Wonks -  doc's current lyric  #I've seen the needle and the damage done, a little part of it in everyone..

The clue's there in the first line  ;)
Peeing down here so it may be indoor jobs for me, unless it goes off a bit.  :|

I haven’t been on the forum for a day or so - busy with various things, one of which is finishing the cardigan I’ve been knitting for six year old Olive (friends granddaughter). I actually finished knitting an hour ago, but getting past dinner and now that I can get to the forum, I’m told we will be getting a visit from you know who. I’m expecting the phone to ring any time nw.

Apart from knitting a heap of I-cords for the cardigan, it’s finished.  I’ve told Olive’s mother that I’ll leave it to her to buy some toggles and attach them and the loops in the most suitable places. 🙄

    catch up later.

WW.  With reference to the annoying pop ups on your tablet . MU and I both  had them, even though I had an ad blocker.  I changed my ad blocker to Brave and it appears to have solved the problem for me.  (don't know about MU ) fingers crossed.

Edit to add. ...My tablet is a Samsung.

I can't wait to move further north fidget, but it will be a compromise for me too as I won't be 27 any longer.
Have you tried that film for the windows Wonks? It would allow light in but disguise the road. Won't change the noise but would save you on leccy.... :D

Pauline thank you! I'll look into that and see if it stops it! 😊
Fairy 😀 Neil Young! Fantastic album Harvest! And I was only born in '76 😀
Fidget, it's the people shouting all the time that is the problem here, low rent district, big old houses that have been brought by landlords to over occupy there is nothing can be done so like yourself I'll move to the countryside as soon as I'm able!!!
