I was helping out today at a most gorgeous NGS open garden in London N8, with owners that have a special passion for succulents. It's very worth a visit next year if you are interested in such plants (and cake). Many bananas (!), tree ferns, greenhouses full of tenders. Here are just two fine specimens. The v experienced owners are very happy to answer any questions and give advice.

A gorgeous visit this weekend to Sissinghurst and Gt Dixter. Superb weather, wild and riotous planting. I loved both. Inspired, meadowy, colour-wow, explosive.

Not exactly a garden visit, but here are some of the flower arrangements at the recent Cheshire Show, displayed by NAFAS.

Superb flower arrangements (and very well photographed too), @Alan Clark2 in Liverpool. Bravo!
Great shots of your visit to The Old Vicarage, Astley, Manchester.

Have just come back from a four day stay on the Devon/Dorset/Somerset border.  Visited a number of gardens.  These are photos taken at Bishop Palace Gardens in Wells during the journey home.

These photos were taken at Abbotsbury Subtropical Gardens on a baking hot day.

Great use of a fallen tree trunk.

    Some amazing Gunneras

Staff had thinned the trees so the ruin on a distant hill could be beautifully framed.

Smashing photos Yviestevie, the Bishop's Palace is one of my favourites and they have a really good Plant fair sometimes.

Forde Abbey Gardens at Chard.  An amazing water fountain.  I got soaked but it was welcome on what was a very hot day.
