Lovely photos of Great Dixter @1634 Racine. Must be 40 years since I visited. Been Up North a long time. Great to see Fergus Garret stewardship of Christopher Lloyds vision is still thriving.
Thanks Tess. Dixter is great fun. It's not a manicured perfection garden and is all the better for it. Some paths you need to fight your way through the plants which are spilling out of the borders. Great fun unless it is a rambling rose in your way!
Thanks @Busy-Lizzie, l will bear that in mind as l see they are still open until the 20th. We went there a couple of years ago, it was very quiet. We were amazed to find Carol Klein was filming there for GW, it was fascinating to watch, and she was lovely. Our plans for visting gardens have been stymied by life and the weather, we are hoping to visit Batsford as long as storm Callum leaves something to see! Thanks again.
