    right, Hubby isn't too happy.

    The " shortest route" finishes at 20.01. oops. I bought him some nice lilies .

    No 1 daughter flies off to Colombia tonight so we've just had a chat. She's more excited than nervous now. I spoke to a nice couple at a holiday let yesterday who have been to all the places she's visiting ( except Galapagos Islands) as he was brought up in S. America. " She'll be fine, don't worry" they said.

    Do we ever stop worrying about our " babies" even when they're almost 30 years old?

    Love that view Liri.  What's the hill in the distance?

    Love Smiley's People too and all the Smiley books in fact.  Have read them several times and still pick up new bits.

    Papi Jo - no, slept thru it.  Thanks for telling me.  We woke up at 6:30am thanks to a certain pussycat.   There's a very good plant fair in Vouvant in May.......

     Nope ... not even when they're '27' image

    I will do the oysters and scallops any time, adore them!

    Hosta we never stop worrying, you may remember my No1 lived in HK. There was a horrible crash yesterday on the road that she travelled every day and she is visiting OH in Moscow for half term and there has been that plane crash.  When she lives in London I worry all the time about safety.

    What can we do?!

    Just in case anyone is hungry, a couple of deserts;

    Mango, yuzu with coconut tart, amazing.

    Chocolate, olive oil tuille and sheeps milk ice cream.

    I could eat the whole lot again now.

    Thick snow here, so not going anywhere.

    What brand of Turmeric are people using, think I might try it?

    Me too.  I like yuzu so much I've bought a plant.  Just a baby at the mo but it will be treasured.

    Possum is 23 and, apart from OH who is usually with me or close by, I always think of her when I see something funny or interesting or beautiful she might like.  Hard not to worry about her.

  • Can't do oysters any more ........ after 40+ years of loving them they've suddenly started making me very ill indeed ... it's happened the last three times I've had them so I won't have them any more.image
