Pity we can't all have good neighbours. Ours seem fine so far but not sure how long the farmers will stay put. They're our age and I suspect he's getting tired now.

Glad the neck's improved, Dove. Hope no chilly draughts get to it - big scarf if visiting your elderly neighbour!
Liri, did he go?
The snow has set in here I think. Small, powdery flakes but lots and lots of them. Last night's didn't melt at all and there's a good covering already this evening. I think the kids will be off school tomorrow - trains were disrupted but running today, but it looks like more or less all have been cancelled in advance for tomorrow.

You are a lovely neighbour - your "old gentleman" will be feeling well looked after...
Yes LG, he went. He's the conductor so feels that if he doesn't turn up, the rehearsal won't happen. I'm trying not to look out of the window too often, though it does seem to have stopped snowing for the moment.
My feet are cold. Time to find another pair of socks, I think. Hope you're all keeping warm and happy.
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

Yes thanks Liri. Another log has just gone on the fire and I've been hunting wardrobes on a local site - not quite freecycle but almost.
I hope your OH is OK and that people turned up for him too.
