Hope everyone is staying warm & well. We too had another dusting last night enough to obscure the grass now. The snow was beginning to melt but then out of the blue we have had a blizzard, which is swirling round at the mo. The Robbin is guarding the mealworms on the patio a blackbird is guarding some apples on the lawn & one Magpie has learned to hover at the bird feeder & is trying to empty it onto the floor. It's only -3 here at the moment. I am supposed to be delivering cottage pie to SIL as SD is away teaching in Prague, hope her flight goes ahead ok & she gets home tomorrow as scheduled.
PDoc Yes that is why I agreed that finding a way to train others would be the best for you now you can still fulfil your desire to do good things.
It's bitterly cold here, took Merri and Mabel to school and then came home. Have been filling pots with compost in the conservatory ready to transplant seedlings once the soil has warmed up a bit. Have a bit of a cold so wont be doing much but a bit of indoor gardening should be just the ticket.
Secondborn has just come back from her first scan at the hospital and all is well so I'm allowed to announce that she is expecting a brother or sister for Jonah. Sooooo excited. Baby is due 7th September.Might pop to Ashwood for cake to celebrate (need some plant labels so that will provide a good excuse)
Lots of snow flurries here but nothing has stuck. Think we had ours before Christmas. Keep warm and safe folks.
Hope you guys are all OK .....never thought when I was living in Saudi Arabia back in the 80s.....with +50 degree temps that I would eventually move to the Soviet Union ......and then need air conditioning for the crazy hot summers .......and then need to protect innocent by-passers from lethal projectiles

Congratulations, Yvie. Will that be 4 grandchildren?
Keep warm, Joyce, hope you have plenty of food in.
Sky grey here, wouldn't be surprised if it snowed. Taking OH to choir practice tonight so hope it doesn't.
