  • Steephill, that's an eye-catching tartan.  Glad you had such a wonderful day - never to be forgotten, I guess.

Joyce, sorry to hear your daughter is still having trouble with her leg.  OH is just starting a new antibiotic to try to get on top of his infection - hopefully this one will do the trick.  And yes, I do indeed know that stretch of road.  That sounds a terrifying journey for your niece!

Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

Steephill, what a wonderful, memorable day! Well done to Mrs. Steephill.

Landing carpet is now in place, the last of the repairs after the flood. The bathroom and landing look better than they did before, but there are still some stains on the furniture in the room below, not too bad though.

I'm beginning to wonder if I'll ever clear last summer's dead plants before the daffodils are out. Garden is like a bog, normally well drained. Never stops raining, but at least Monday was fine when OH's family were here. Must have been about the 2nd sunny day in the whole winter.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
  • Joyce ... I've driven along that road ... There's a very good fish and chip restaurant at Tyndrum image

I drove it in mid June. Wouldn't want to do in deep snow image

Morning Dove. I’ve got a lovely cat visiting here. She’s spent the day on my chair in the art room. image

She can watch the Blue Wrens from there.
