LP -  have you seen any of our named snowploughs?

We have had wind, rain, hail, snow and thunder today. Hope conditions are not too bad in your village.

It would be worth having snow to have a snow plough like that come round.  As it is, when a truck falls in a ditch or a tree falls in the road the local farmer - often as not our neighbour - is called to come out with his tractor and, failing that, the chaps from the council know where to find his keys if he's not there.

DL - As I don't live in an apartment, I'm sticking with my much loved and very lovable stubborn terrier rescue and the daffy Lab rescue but I do understand people thinking their own dog or breed is the bee's knees.

Dove - that could make me like amaryllis.

Vendée - 20kms from Atlantic coast.

Dove, I haven’t read back so don’t know what the problem is with Wonkeys hands, but my daughter has very bad painful hands and the doctor has just given her steroid injections in the joints, she says although not completely better, she is managing far better than she has done for ages.

Just to add... it was all done in the surgery, no hospital visits.

That's a great snow plough, Joyce!  image

poor Wonky, I know how much her job means to her, hope they get her fixed up soon

Dacha, our daughter had two rescue dogs in Moscow, brought with her from HK, one had three legs and had a dog mobile to go in, I have never seen such amazed faces!

Joyce it’s been a crazy day here.  Heavy snow and lightening, village closed, village open, M74 now closed at Millbank. We got up to EK today but wouldn’t want to try it now. Pleased to see so many gritters out but it’s a losing battle I fear   Sadly we don’t seem to have your councils sense of humour,

    stay safe everyone
