Don't worry BL, this is not current music really. Kirsty's been dead for 17 years () and Shane's been pickled as long. But I'm afraid the Pogues, Kirsty and Billy Bragg, along with other 80s and 90s stuff are the repeat plays on my ipod speaker in the kitchen. I barely keep up these days, even with teenagers in the house. I'm just reminiscing about my youth, given recent news. Most of the 'new' music I listen to is only new to me, in that it's classical/choral - whatever repertoire the kids are currently working on.
Hmmm - my concentration on biological controls isvery poor, evidently.

Me too and I did not get on well enough with the late 70s or the 80s and subsequent decades to buy much of the music or remember names. Certainly no punk or rap or hard rock or whiny stuff.
Been to the dentist this morning and, apart from smoothing a broken edge all is well. Back in 2 months to see if he needs to replace the last 2 big metal fillings or not. OH is all done and dusted and has even had a polish.
We've been having more lovely wet stuff but the sun is peeping thru. Academic for me as I must get on and sew, sew, sew.
I hope you're felling brighter Pdoc and you too Hosta and people like LP with cold and flu lurgies. Let's hope these latest tests show something for Wonky. Have they actually scanned her hands?

It was a reasonable question, Pauline, and - more to the point - clearly stemmed from kindness and concern.
Obelixx, rap and 'whiny stuff' are on my playlists... I think we'd still find plenty in common though, my musical tastes are pretty varied.
I officially find pests, diseases and their various controls very difficult to remember. Have taken a break and got a couple of other necessary but dull tasks out of the way. More pests this afternoon, and making a beef stew. It's rather a lovely day outside...

I do hope something can be done for Wonky, Dove. It sounds terribly painful. Send my best wishes her way.
Glad the BP is normal.
Thanks LG. My youth is the sixties and early 70s!
Best wishes to Wonky from me too.

Not sure Obelixx ... I'll ask next time she rings.

That made me laugh, thinking of Hosta and OH, are they ever mentally ok, they‘re a brilliant couple, my best friends. I love them to bits.

Pauline - I thought it was kind of you to ask and wonder about long term problems like flashback and nerves .
Lyn - I thought the same but didn't comment because, unlike you and Dove, I have never actually met them.
Pauline ... I think you've misunderstood the tone of Lyn's post. She really wouldn't mean anything unkind.
