    Morning all.

Thank-you one and all for your kindness and good wishes.

We're £400 poorer but as I said, we could have left beaten up in a ditch somewhere, so , on balance "lucky"?????

LG, Zombie is a Fave of mine too. See if you can track down the acoustic version they did , I think on MTV live.

Edit: Just checked it out, yeah, that's the one. I love the string section.

I remember the hoohah over Pogue Mahone when they started, and the change of name. I imagine your son probably saw more of Shane than the audience did - I've heard he's OK for sound checks but 'unwell' by the time the actual gig starts... that was certainly the case at the Kirsty MacColl memorial gigs I've been to, and I got the impression that was situation normal. Still, good on him for surviving.

Hosta, beautiful acoustic version of Zombie. I hope you can enjoy the rest if your holiday and are not too shaken. I know I would be image.

All this lovely music is distracting me from learning the Latin names of biological controls (not my favourite but if the course so am easily distracted!). Back to it.

Oh you coy people! Pogue Mahone means Kiss my A**e. There are worse phrases uttered in the White House.

    Morning all. Sunny here.

Oh dear, I just don't keep up with music any more, but I had heard of The Cranberries. If ever I listen to music it's OH practicing for choir or Classical.

Well done Hosta for such a positive attitude.

Had a hot cross bun for brekkies, yum, not sold in France.

Watched probably more TV than is good for me in the last couple of days. I-Player doesn't work in France so I've been catching up on everything I've missed.

I saw the Pogues 4 or 5 times and they varied between brilliant and terrible, but were always exciting.

I also saw my all time fave, Joe Strummer, stand in for Shane on one occasion when he was " taking a break " .

Thinking of Wonky who has another round of blood tests tomorrow ((hugs)) they're trying to pin down why her hands are so painful.
