We watched that new Marple film, I thought it was very good, lots of super stars, couldn’t believe Glenn Close had got old, haven’t seen her for a while, Max Irons is gorgeous, Gillian Anderson never alters, all very well acted.
Then started watching the Christmas food programme but OH wanted hair cut and beard trim so will finish it tomorrow.

Weeds are flowers, too, once you get to know them.” A A Milne
Just having a coffee then will resume packing ... thanks for all your kind messages folks ... you're lovely I spoke to my son last night and he'd felt well enough to go downstairs and lie on the sofa under a blanket and watch some tv so hopefully he's over the worst of it. He'll just have to be careful not to overdo it ... he's got a lot of work on in the New Year ......
I'll just take this opportunity to say that I hope you all have a lovely Christmas, whatever you're doing ... ((hugs)) and positive thoughts to the poorly and those with worries and cares ......... you're all in our thoughts.
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Been up a while - turkey giblet stock is simmering, stoup is made and also simmering (cross between stew and soup - traditional for us on Christmas eve since 1975 ). Sitting down for tea and porridge before I tackle the trifle making ......busy, busy, busy but all adds to the excitement ??????
London yesterday was great fun - the lights looked lovely. Found sproutman LG . Carnaby street had gone for a carnival theme - not very Christmassy but it made everyone smile
Love those penguins Liri
Time for me to sign off for a while. But before I go I wanted to wish you all a very Merry Christmas, and to thank you all for the chat, the advice and the company ......you really are a wonderful bunch

Morning people. Merry Christmas from us here at 9.30 pm on Christmas Eve.
Our son created this character on his computer for us to send to overseas friends.
he completed his Graphic Design studies recently and got a High Distinction. Very pleasing for us and him.
