Oz jet lag doesn’t seem too bad (not like the US version, which makes me feel like I have full blown flu) - felt fine yesterday, and had a good night’s sleep last night. Working from home to day - which saves me a commute. Just as well as my car has a flat, so will need to make a visit to the tyre people at lunchtime.
Hope your early Christmas was good GWRS - is today early Boxing Day too? Hope bubble and squeak, and a long walk are on the cards
Bit bored of blow-by-blow Brexit accounts - can someone let me know when its all sorted plz
Good morning. Bright and sunny here. OH and I are off to do a raid on the SM and fetch a parcel he's ordered and then his birthday lunch. Restaurants round here tend to close for a month's holiday between Halloween weekend and the beginning of December. Hope the chef has had a good break and is on form!
Xmas market this evening and curtains in between. More rain promised this weekend so next week I should, with a bit of luck, be able to plant some bulbs without breaking my wrist. Even the sneeboer has found it hard.
Very bored with Brexit news - not the fact that they're reporting but the manner, constant repetition and the endless playing with words and terminology. Give me facts and not speculation!
I'm off to inspect the hole.
Have a good day everyone and "love the one you're with".

Minus 2 and snowy here, but the roads are clear so I'm going on a much-delayed Christmas shopping expedition, leaving OH with food he can just pop in the microwave. Wish me luck - the shops will be heaving...
We expect progress reports on the Hole, Obelixx. Hope OH enjoys his birthday celebrations!
Glad you're not too jet lagged, Chicky. Working from home seems a good idea anyway...
I moved from South to North 40 years ago but I'm still a southern softie when it comes to feeling the cold.
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

Don't you mean IF rather than when?
Hail here too.
I know I am, and always will be a Scot, but I moved out in 1984 and I'm now officially a soft Southern wimp.
Despite my mingin' cold, I've offered to take hubby to work so he doesn't have to walk from the car park.
