Lovely holiday souvenir Hosta!   Hope it clears up soon.

Leccy man has now laid all his cables ready for lights and sockets and the hot water tank and radiator.  Now we just need the shower pan and other fittings to arrive so the builders can install the wall panels and so on.   At this rate it'll be Easter!  Meanwhile the tilers are going great guns in the annex and say I can put furniture in on Friday.   All too exciting for the doggies.

I've just had to prize the locks open on the flippin' case.

£140 for a Samsonite case and it's knackered after about 4 holidays. ggrrr.

    Devon.
  • Oh Hosta ... maybe you'd better stay at home and give up taking holidays? image

  • Morning all!  (Just.)

Hope the ear improves without the use of Joyce's suggested medication, Hosta...  image

I have some gardening magazines from the 1930s with wonderful adverts in, for things we wouldn't care to spray around the garden these days (like cyanide-based aphid killers, for instance).  However, I wouldn't say no to a car at 1934 prices... Vauxhall Big Six 20hp Saloon £325...

Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

    Afternoon all.

Yesterday's holiday saw me in the office all day and at a social club am night.

Today's holiday saw me rushing in to the office to have to face a colossal fudge up. Levels of angry shouldn't get this high.

Stress are chips and mayo for lunch - good job there's no chocolate around!

Clari - I sincerely hope you will be reclaiming your holiday!  I don't think chocolate hoes well with chips.........

Ob; am holiday has to be uses by end of December in a use it or loose it approach.

The more I book off the more I end up working longer than had I just gone in.
