It does seem perverse in the extreme.  Maybe a solution would be to declare Jerusalem to be an independent city given that it is the historic centre of the Jewish religion and Christianity with strong Muslim significance.   Like the Vatican city in Rome is an independent entity.

He has stirred up a terrible lot of trouble by his actions. I can hardly believe it. ( I don’t follow any religion, but admit people’s right to make their own choices.)  the troubles between Israel and Lebanon are well known.

Enough. Nothing I say will make any difference.

DT is such an ignorant person. Instead of Twittering he should learn the historical background to various situations.

Obelixx, your building/fitting out works will soon be complete.

Pat, glad you have had some more rain.

Hi Joyce.  It feels interminable.   We started on the whole annex and shower room thing at the beginning of the year...........  Annex went swimmingly until the tiler lost his workforce.   They are thin on the ground so it took months to find a new one thru the tile shop.   He's a busy chap so it's been 5 months waiting for him to be free to do the annex floor.   Should be done today and then the fun and games begin as we move furniture in there and get the real cooker connected.

The shower room is a whole other ball game.   9 months down and still nowhere near complete.   Leccy man is good tho.

Pat - hope the cooking show does the trick for you.

It is.  Had hoped to ave the shower room by Xmas but hey ho.  Once it is done, I get to start on the fun of covering the very strong green and turquoise walls in the ex playroom to make a calm bedroom haven.

Then it'll be musical bedrooms.  It might become a temporary living room while I paint the real living room which is currently greige.   Then Possum wants to move into our current bedroom but wants it to be blue and I'm coming to the conclusion that I don't want to live with the stripy landing wallpaper for too much longer so that'll need stripping and painting..............

And, of course, when we do finally get some rain I shall be outside planting my treasures and decorating goes o the back burner again.
