I had a nice surprise today. I called in to the little gallery where I sell some of my art or craft, and was told they sold 7 of my little dolls. Now I’m busy knitting again to replace them. Lucky I’ve got the air con. Would have been too hot for knitting.

The day has been very oppressive - it really feels like we are in for a thunder storm.

Well done on the sales Pat. Have any of your beautiful paintings sold?

I've had an hours sleep between 4.30 and 5.30. I'm having a cuppa and heading back to bed.

No paintings sold Hosta, but I’m easily pleased with someone liking my knitting.image

i really won’t know how you keep going with so little sleep. We went to bed about midnight and woke at 9.30. This is typical for us since retirement. image. I wish I could pass some of my sleep to you.

Hope you're asleep now Hosta ((hugs))

Sharp frost here ... I spoke to Wonky yesterday ... she was sent home at lunchtime as the conditions were so bad.   Even so, I don't think she'd like your heat Pat

    Morning image

    Work today image

Love Actually in an ice cave was brilliant (please no comments about how much you all detest that film - we all love it, and I’d like to stay in my happy bubble for a while longer image).

Trains were all fine, as were the roads, despite the white fluffy stuff. Still very white out there ths morning.

Isn’t that a pretty sight to warm the cockles of a gardeners heart ❤️??

I must go out to check on mine, but it's so soggy out there I dont want to walk on the lawn ...

Soon be time to do our New Years Day Flower Count ... but we'll be away from home ... I'll have to do ours on NY Eve.

    Morning all.

    Frosty, -5°.

I love that film too. Glad you enjoyed it in the ice cave, Chicky, but was it cold?

Hi all. You’re right Dove, I don’t think Wonky would enjoy our heat like we had today. I think it was 30 something according to Hubby’s gadgets. image

Love the little snowdrop Chicky. It always amazes me how some plants can do that in such severe conditions.

Not cold Lizzie - the ”ice” bit was all fake.  But we sat on huge comfy beanbags, had blankets and drank boozy hot chocolate image
