Sounds nasty Hosta. Hope it's all over now. Still taking the magnesium? There's a lot of snozzable TV today!
We've had a quiet, cosy day so far but I shall have to go and cook dinner soon. All this quiet relaxing is thoroughly exhausting. Sauce and sticky toffee pud done this am and smelly gratin dauphinois is bubbling quietly in the oven. I might have put too much cream in it so it needs to evaporate.......
Enjoy your evening everyone.

Oh dear Hosta, what a rotten day you've had. I hope the pain keeps away tonight and that Hubby's finger is OK. What a pair! What bad timing! I really think it's time they found out what exactly the pain is and what to do about it.
We've had a lovely day with our friends, too much to eat and drink as usual. OH attached my laptop to the TV so we looked up Lake Maggiore and the hotel we are planning to go to in October. Looks gorgeous.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Lie in here Busy. Couldn't get to sleep last night cos a howling gale was banging OH's snowflake against the landing window. Had a good day yesterday and not too stuffed but need to walk off some excess anyway - after foot X-rays.
Doggies were funny - we gave them a stocking filled with biscuit treats and a squeaky bone which also got the kitties excited and then we gave them their new piggies which Oink. Hilarious. They've only had one between them before.
Off to rub shoulders with George Clooney are you? beautiful scenery and lovely buildings and, of course, fabulous food.
Happy Boxing Day everyone - and Hosta and hubby - please take care of yourselves!

Thanks for the kind wishes.
I was chatting to my daughter after breakfast when " episode 2 " kicked in . I've been in bed in pain all afternoon.
Hubby went to cut some kindling until he came into the bedroom saying " I've cut my finger with the axe , I'm off to A&E"
I've just had a cuppa and a mince pie and I'm seriously thinking of just going back to bed.
Just looking in before going to bed.

Forgot about George Clooney. OH 's niece was hoping to see him a few year's ago when she went but he wasn't in.
Morning all.
Well I think I can say without fear of contradiction, that was worst christmas day I've ever had.
The pain eventually subsided at 9pm and I had something to eat. It came up again around 1am.
I've not even opened my presents yet.
Nothing wrong with having Xmas a day late Hosta. How's hubby?
Must go and get showered and dressed so Possum gets her lunch on schedule before I go out. See you later.
