  • Having survived the supermarket mayhem went on the great sprout & parsnip hunt yesterday pm, so nice on a near empty Allotment site to get away from the madness! Getting ready for the toops tomorrow. Happy Christmas one & all catch you soon.image

    That's super Pat!

Afternoon of business now : mince pie gathering with cousin and family, then the next shift will be in-laws for supper.

    Have a lovely Christmas Eve everybody ? ? ?

    Hello all.

Went to Christmas Communion here, no midnight mass. Sang Carols, love Carols.

Found OH's missing present, in the cupboard with my sweatshirts and fleeces. Had a couple of others too, but they weren't lost.

I hope everyone has a lovely Christmas. Will be quiet tonight, no GCs and stockings.

Well done Busy.  I have been known to buy things for Possum through the year as I see them and then forget where I've stashed them and find them months later.

We've just had Thai prawn soup for lunch, on schedule. Apparently studying is from 2:30 to 7pm with a  wee break at 4.   She can be very Capricorn!   She's having a fine time tho with none of the recent stressing on parade and lots of cuddles with the critters.

I've still got a few prezzies to wrap and then some cooking prep for tomorrow and then we can all relax over dinner and a film - if we can agree on one.

Merry Christmas everyone.  Hope you all have a lovely time wherever you are.

    right  , that's it done.

Mayhem around 3 when all the turkeys were reduced. Some from over £60 to less than £20.

Time for a cuppa and a bit of something yummy then relight the woodburner.

Please tell me there's something good on telly tonight.

    RIP Gogglebox's Leon.

  • Hello all - hope you're all getting that Christmassy feeling...  image

Like you, Busy, I've been singing carols today - in church and then in the market hall.  Lovely!  Now watching Kings College Choir on telly, in that fabulous chapel with the elegant fan-vaulted ceiling which looks as if it's floating above the stained glass windows.

Wishing you all a peaceful night and everything you hope for tomorrow...
