If it helps my body clock is definately in winter mode. I feel like I need to stand under a bright street light to try and wake up. I have my sunlamp type alarm clock that gently wakes you... well my eyes are open much else I'm not sure I can offer.
Like Pat I've read the books - a family I babysat for brought me most of the collection over the years, obviously wanting me to be a good influence on their two young boys! Can not for the life of me try to describe who did what to whom.
I found a book on the radio to listen too; I'm still struggling with fatigue so the BBC radio app is fantastic as I can save programmes even authors on to my favourites and it lets me know what's available. I did think about going to to library to see what audible books they had (as I recommend this to our old ladies on our home library service) but I realised I'd have nothing to play them on!
Still; The app let's you download things so as I'm on my own in the office tomorrow I've a few things that I want to listen too without the risk of falling asleep so I'll have them playing then.
Don't think it's the clock change that's affected me. It's much more likely to be that I had a phone call from my old team yesterday asking me to join them for their Christmas lunch and also when I was shopping I saw someone who brought some memories back consequently I dreamt about work and woke at the time I used to back then ...
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
I've read most of Dickens (loved Bleak House, Gt Expectations, David Copperfield, Oliver Twist) and all of Jane Austen which I also enjoyed, but I've never taken to the Brontes - Ive read Wuthering Heights and Jane Eyre without much enjoyment and have never been able to get into any of the others

Morning all/afties Pat. Can't beat an owl - of any kind and type
Chilly here again - think we've had a touch of frost, overnight and as the light came in. It's only about 0 degrees now, but lovely and clear and bright - just like LP's pic. Whereabouts are you just now LP - that looks a bit like the hills at Callander, or thereabouts.
Lovely photos too Obelixx. You sound like you're having a nice time - which is the main thing.
Not a fan of the 'classics' either, although I loved Jane Eyre when I was younger. The Austen books have never appealed - all those daft wimmin in their frilly 'underpinnings' fluttering over daft men...
GIve me a good murder any day!
Durham Town was that one chicky, but they all kind of blended into each other - old Roger and his cheesy whistling!
I'll have a quick look round before I go to work. Nearly the weekend....
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Morning all, still chilling out and being spoilt rotten
Fairy, we are at Balathie and the photo was taken at Brotherstone Loch. Today looks good too
my sympathies go to all suffering from fatigue a good doze of clean country air recommended!
Chicky, the first time I went to Australia I made up my own playlist to enjoy whilst reading. Planes are such noisy places! Getting excited?
my favourite books just now are the Elizabeth David ones my OH bought me. It's fascinating to see how she started to change the way we thought about food.
home later today but going via a very well known rhodi grower. I am hoping the bare rooted are ready
have a lovely day everyone,

Oh dear, see, I remember 'Old Durham Town' as well, now you mention it . The Last Farewell is a different song, it has a sort of chorus that goes 'For you are beautiful...' - here it is https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sGWs1HK8iDU
I've read Jane Eyre and liked it. Possibly influenced by Timothy Dalton's Mr Rochester when the BBC did one of those Sunday afternoon series . And I love Jane Austen - subtle satire which is frequently hilarious. But I struggle with Dickens to be honest - the world so relentlessly dark and miserable and Wuthering Heights I didn't like at all for much the same reason. None of the characters is even likeable.
Got a bit of gardening done yesterday - it was a decent day here and today looks like it may be too, when the mist burns off. I've hardly done any since August because the dog has needed to be constantly watched but he's doing OK at the moment. I'm still keeping an eye on him in case the chemo he had on Monday makes him sick but so far so good. Now all his stitches are out and he's free to wander about on his own, I can get back to my sadly overgrown borders and the stack of bulbs that I ordered before all this happened and haven't planted yet.
Hope you all have a good day

Thanks for that info ladies. I think it was the pale coloured one in the photo. At least it fits for the map
Chicky, any time
Such beautiful birds ?

Right; I'd best get off to work!

Morning all. Evening Pat.
Beautiful morning here.
LP, you will be spoilt for choice at the rhodi nursery.
