Busy - one of the reasons we chose this house was to reduce the need to climb steps as the knees got creakier, arthritic bits and all to consider. Our log store is a work in progress. OH impatient about letting our newly cut wood dry for 2 years and still refusing to buy any logs. I shall get some for Xmas and NY anyway.
Nigella's lamb for us tonight but shoulder, not leg. Looking good so far.......and I remembered to go and pick some Romanesco before it got too dark to see.

Got a wonderful bargain yesterday, posh farming shop closing down sale, Woodland thermal lined wellies reduced from £62 to £25! Have to say the most comfortable footware of any kind I've ever had on!!!! Like memory foam cuddles for your feet! Didn't take them off until bedtime anyone fancy going jumping in puddles with me?

yesterday I found nemo ?. And Dory ?. Had a wonderful day snorkelling, although ts a shame my sum total of tropical fish ? knowledge comes from a Disney cartoon
Today we fly to Brisbane .....farewell to the rainforest and reef, you were awesome ❤️
Half-brother and his wife arrived for an overnight stay. A very pleasant meal and a few whiskies led to an enjoyable evening. i haven't seen them for a few years so lots of catching up to do.

Was that Barren Falls in the photo? The last time I saw it, it was in flood conditions. Absolutely pouring down that rock face.
No sogn of our Wallaby today.must have found somewhere more comfortable.
