Evening all. Decided to call in tomorrow as time off to use up some of those hours worked. Means I can go and stock the dog freezer up (preparing his special meals is five hour affair every 3 weeks), give him a bath, get all the washing done, bake a cake, tidy the freezer, cut tge lawn and generally blitz ready for the return of his master...

... Maybe I'll go to work  Seems the easiest option!

Came back from the meeting in Bergerac mid afternoon. Lovely day so did some weeding and got the washing in then we had dinner, plaice from a local supermarket, under the pergola on the kitchen terrace. Getting colder now so OH has lit the wood burner and we are off to the sitting room soon to watch the prog about the Cornish coast.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

I spent as long as I could outside watching the moon. My hound shaped hot water bottle has sone serious warming up of me to do.

It's a clear night so the moon looks fantastic - not able to take a decent picture though, so suppose it's just something you have to see 'in the flesh'.

Wonder if the kittens will go crazy? (of course they will...they do every evening!)

Extra Slice then bed (programme not cake!).
