Hi Dove. I’m amazed to find anyone on yet. Did you get enough sleep with the change over

G'day Pat image  We had an hour extra yesterday, went to bed the normal time yesterday and woke up the normal time this morning. It's ten past seven now image  Losing or gaining an hour never bothers us. Never has, not even when we had livestock I had to get up for.

Dachalover... only if he pays taxes here. I gather he is a resident of Monaco for tax avoidance purposes.  I think if there was a flat rate of 25% for everyone  after an allowance of £15,000 per year, there would be more tax paid overall. That's what Singapore does and it encourages high earners to pay taxes in that country.  Anyone earning less than £15,000 per annum should pay no income tax. Also the reliance on benefits to subsidise low paid jobs could be cut. So less Civil servants to pay for.

I went to bed after Blue Planet last night, and still woke up at 4.30am. image

As I was locking the back door last night, I noted a little hedgehog on the patio. I put some cat food out for it, and it's gone this morning.  He needs building up for winter, he looks too small.

    Morning all.

    Guests still asleep.

Fidget, I'm with you 100% on selfies, posers and tax exiles NOT getting knighthoods.

Glorious sunny morning , very still but it looks chilly.

Tree surgeon dropped off another load of chip at 7.30 so I really need to crack on with moving it. If only the ground would dry out enough to move it.

Dacha, I only work 2 days a  week. I'm very lucky, but some of that pudding would go down a treat . Hubby did his lemon brouleé flan last night after the curry. Yummity  yum. Our foody friend was V impressed and has demanded the recipe.

Blue Planet recorded as we had guests last night.

I need to devote 100% attention to it.

    Morning all.

I've friends coming round tonight to work on a project. Easy enough except that we usually go to theirs and they order in a take away (I end up bringing my own meal or eat before I go).

So I send a message just checking they eat lasagne, who doesn't eat lasagne? It's my go to food of group meals! Can be made gluten free, meat free, dairy free... Easy to do in bulk. Prep in advance and throw in when you're ready.

No apparently one of them doesn't eat pasta, and is funny about beef mince, and tomatoes, well vegetables in general, definately no salad.

But he eats beef burgers covered in tomato sauce from the catering vans!

As someone who CAN'T eat so much it really baffles me when an adult, who for no reason other than a childhood habit, WON'T eat things.

So I'll be off for a potter around Tesco in a bit to see what pizza and chips we can pick up :/
