Evening all. Didn't feel very chatty this morning after switching the pooter on and seeing the news about Tom Petty. Huge fan.  Just had a cry and switched it back off  image

Wonder if doc heard before he got on his plane. Hope he has a good holiday.

I'll go and  have a look at what you've been doing while I've been at work. With a cuppa - and perhaps Mr Petty at full volume....Heartbreaker right enough...

I felt so tired and low this morning that I didn't see about your daughter's leg this morning Joyce. I hope the pain of it has eased and she makes a quick recovery.

Went to the supermarket, then OH took me out to the Chinese serve yourself that we call the Wok place. I'm trying to lose weight so it's a good choice as you can choose the food and they do lots of salads. Can be a bad choice as there are also lots of yummy things deep fried in batter, but I steered clear of them for once. Have lost half a stone so far.

Congrats on the weight loss BL! I seem to be gaining weight still despite trying to be healthy.

Feeling very tired; I think I don't sleep heavily when my partner is away which doesn't help with the general fatigue I'm still trying to sort. 20:00 however is a little early even for me to go to bed.

I'm trying to find a nice easy to care for houseplants for the office as a moving in gift. As it's so warm (24'c!!) I was thinking a citrus type little tree.

Wonks - that's the album that got me hooked. My ex hubby was a big fan, and we'd just started going out and used to listen to it in his bedroom. You Got Lucky is a big favourite. We went to see him a few years later, and it's undoubtedly one of the best concerts I've ever been to...and the loudest! Considering that I've seen all my 'heroes', often more than once, that says a lot about him.

Thanks Joyce - will reply soon. Hope your daughter is properly on the mend now  image

Well done BL. Stir fried stuff is often really good - and lots of veg etc. The battered stuff - not so much... have you seen the size of some Glaswegians?  image
