    Morning all.

Super looking pear. They don't grow well here. I've had a banana.

Someone is coming to estimate for new carpets today for the bathroom and landing, damaged by the flood. Then daughter 2 & family are coming for lunch.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

We planted a pear tree rwo years ago, but it’s a bit slow to do more than produce leaves image.

besdies, the birds will demolish them anyway. I don’t get much fruit from our older trees after the various birds have a bit of fun.

    Morning all.

Rubbish start to the day. I didn't get to sleep until after 4.30 am, and guess what?? we've had yet more rain overnight.

Roll on my holiday  before trench foot sets in.

Sunny and dry here after another misty start.  Haven't gone to the seminar cos I was up half the night with more itchies.  I suspect I'm  bitten in the day by harvest mites or similar and they react by evening and nightfall.   Have decided to do a more than usually thorough clean of our bedroom and bedding to make sure they're not in there and clothing too will get a hot wash and be dried outside in the sun.   Driving me mad!

I don't eat breakfast unless I'm staying in a hotel that does a good one and then I skip lunch.  OH has a banana and/or pear with a single Weetabix.

We were hoping to plant pears Busy.  Is it the cold winters that get them or spring frosts or hot summers?   Hope you get your estimates thru OK.   We haven't had carpet for 25 years but we do have Persian/Turkish and Bangladeshi rugs along with some Belgian made copies - good for kiddie play when Possum had all sorts of tots round and now good for dogs.

Hope your head clears LG.  Not good.

DL - even when it's cold I don't wear a hat but maybe a scarf looped over my head and a hood if it's windy.  Happier with free head but warm neck.

Off to clean and try not to scratch.  Have a good afternoon everyone.
