Made me laugh too, Fairy Cute sheep, not many round here. Here mostly wheat, maize, sunflowers and cows.
Septic tank man was nice. Said things are more relaxed now, don't have to empty the tank every four years, depends on size and amount of use ie people living in the house.
Pruned a Malvern Hills rose that was getting a bit out of control. May not be the correct time, but needed it. Never sure with ramblers, but it's a repeat flowerer.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
The rambler on our holiday cottage gets "pruned" by the free-range cattle, and tidied up & tied in whenever I'm around to do it. Still seems to flower ok - I think they are pretty forgiving.
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
Had a Malvern Hils in Belgium witha Beauty of Worcetser clem - Oh is from Worcester and played cricket for Malvern Hills club in his youf. Unfortunately both struggled with the easterlies in winter but I've bought a new MH for here.
I talk to critters all the time - in the garden, on walkies, 4 pets in the house and even OH sometimes. Same crops round here Busy but grapevines over towards Mareuil and orchards beyond there. .
Busy day today. Big SM shop this am and then gardening this pm. I have lifted 3 Japanese maples from that too dry shade bed. They will spend the foreseeable in pots on the terrace where they will be hidden from direct sun by the house and now from easterly winds by the shower room. There are 4 so I'll need to get a 5th and then I shall rescue the hostas back into pots and make a wee glade on the terrace.
What a difference a day makes. We have the bones of a shower room.
Clari - I put William on to A4A after he asked about having my photo with the flame thrower I used just once and abandoned.
WW - I do a lot for my cats but not that! Might just about squeeze thru a dog flap........
Dancing was good tonight and certainly got the heart rate going. Must be nearly time for bed.
Vendée - 20kms from Atlantic coast.

We are just biding our time at home for a while until it’s time to leave for our Canberra trip. We’ve had 14 mm rain overnight - amazing. Are you jealous Obelixx? I can’t get over it. It’s months since we had such rain.
Good morning. Been up early as kittens need dose of anti-inflammatory with breakfast.
Had a lovely afternoon tea with some work buddies yesterday - we each made something and laid a table with cake stands, vintage cups and pretty tea pots etc. I really fancy a charity shop trip to look for some more tea cups as we all fancy doing this again.

Work is progressing well Obelixx.
Hope you get all your planting plans sorted out by the spring once you have judged probable weather factors.

Hi Lyn. I believe you. Hosta has been telling us.
