Oh dear! I've been laying flat with a heat pad on  my back ... Hoping to get it well enough so that I can drive to visit Wonky tomorrow.

Is everyone else AWOL as well? image

    Hope it works Dove.

Been busy here doing battle with a pattern for a Star Wars outfit for Possum and then dance class.  At last we have new steps in jive and have cracked their tango figures from 2 years ago and a bit more cha-cha.  Definitely aerobic exercise and a work out for the brain too.

Have discovered we have a wild persimmon tree.  Any ideas what to do with the fruit?

Obelixx, you need to determine whether the persimmons are the astringent or non astringent type.  If not fully ripe, it's easy to tell if it's astringent!!!  I have only eaten them fresh just like an apple.

  • Hope all is well with your back Dove....

Ob so long as you don't do what I did with the fruit. When I first met my wife I was alw trying to impress her with my cooking skills. I'd had a bit to much to drink one day ....I went to the maker to buy some nice tomatoes to make her some nice creamed soup..... well I mistakenly bought persimmons and went ahead and made the soup. I was dreadful image
