Poor wee Worzle is still in the garage awaiting a part.

    He should be home tomorrow.

Nothing too serious I hope. I've got to replace the wheel bearings on my truck one warm weekend.

Ours is getting new brake pads next Wednesday pm.   We have to go to Chateau d'Olonne whch means a morning spent at the covered market buying fresh fish etc, then lunch then maybe a raid on the Troc before we can pick him up so it's going to cost a lot more then £190.

I hope that'll be it but I suspect wheel bearings.........   We'll see.   meanwhile, we're using Sally who has a plug-in Garmin satnav which we didn't use on Thursday's excursion to dancing.  Very strange driving around without a moving map on the screen.  Had to concentrate on surroundings and not just other traffic.  I can see that Satnav can lead to brain death.

    Back to reading maps then.

It's a place that takes your unwanted furniture and household items and sells them for a share.  House clearances and stuff.   Source of wonderful goodies on occasion.  http://www.troc.com/fr/magasin-184-les-sables-d-olonne-chateau-d-olonne.htm#.WdfkemiCyM9

Fireworks season has started early this year image Fortunately far enough away for a dog that ate three days worth of food (a mix of me feeding him bits as i prepared the portions and him sneaking off with 1kg of beef cheek) and so is in a bit of a food induced deep sleep not to really register.
