Hi Dove. Take it easy. This tennis business is not the best for you at the moment.image

Don't think it was the tennis Pat ... it was being a stubborn plonker and not accepting OH's offer to mow the lawn image

Having one of our delicious Concorde pears from out little espalier for breakfast ... so very good image

image Yum - love home picked pears image  Sadly ours were all nipped in the bud by that late frost this year ❄️❄️❄️

Very excited about our trip to see littlest Chicklet image  Setting off soon ???

Hope your back is comfortable enough to let you make the trip to Wonky’s Dove.  And hope Liri has made it safely to Galway too.  And that LilyP is having fun helping out in London.  And that Dacha enjoys his family in Cheshire .......seems lots of us are on offspring visits .....no wonder there’s no time for chat image

    Morning all/afties Pat.

Think I was watching tv last night too. Can't really remember...can't even blame my forgetulness on drink since I don't !  image

I was also testing some cakes oldest fairylet made for a Breast Cancer Awareness bake sale at her  work. I didn't take any pix, so I hope she did. They looked brilliant...and tasted even better  image

Think I've got everything done now re the extension paperwork. Took it down to the council offices. Jeez what a r***y pain that's been, but necessary to sort it all out. Took loads of stuff to the tip yesterday too - the packaging from that new wardrobe plus all the old one just about filled the car.

Hideous day here, and was a bit wild and windy last night. Didn't stop me sleeping soundly fortunately. I was a bit weary. image

Have a good trip Dove. Take it easy image

Good morning.   We have workmen again so dogs and I are confined to barracks.  Just as well I have sewing to do as soon as I've nipped out to take some penstemon cuttings and split my new carex Evergold to populate what has turned out to be a dry shade bed.

Hope everyone visiting family has a good time.    Same for those just getting on with daily life and gardening.
