They are such beautiful birds - vibrant and so noisy. The first I saw was flying over a river in France where we were camping. Last year one visited our new garden pond for a few seconds but hasn't come back (no fish in pond to entice it).
Beautiful, Doc...I remember one of the clips from Planet Earth ( I think that was the program ) where they filmed a hunt from the air, it was amazing to watch.
