  • Yes, thanks Dave, I was put right by another eagle eyed knowledgeable person.  However, pleased to report that one pair succeeded and have a nest up on the eaves, pity not more were successful in their nest building.  It's a start and perhaps next year we will have more.

    Well technically that's their ankle. The knee is up under the wing. They walk on tiptoes.

    It always amazes me that horses walk on their middle fingers though.
    If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.
