What Fire said I feel bad posting this lame pic after such an amazing photo now
but anyway sorry the quality is poor but it was one of the first pics with my new camera and I couldn't work out the settings in time to catch a rare bumblebee feeding on one of my sedums. The sedum is supposed to look scaly btw, it's part of its charm.
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.
Incredible photos from everyone, really enjoyable. My pic is not great quality - it's more for help with identification from anyone please. I'm sure it's a common moth but it was quite large and very attractive. (It was on my Christmas Box). Thanks 😊
Really beautiful moth pic Jules. They get a bad press compared to their gaudy relatives, but it's lovely to see how many types we all have in our gardens. I caught this one last year - he was beautifully camouflaged in the gravel I've now forgotten what he is, after someone kindly IDd him for me.... Think it's a yellow underwing though. I've put these on the camera thread, but the local deer in Glen Etive are very tame. These two [bookends] were unfazed by everyone crossing the river at Coileiter en route to the hills. The one on the left is well camouflaged - he's lying down.

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

@wildedges your sedums look like an alien landscape 😎
Compared to your photos @Sheps, most of mine are amateurish, but if you take enough, some will be good.

You have summed up my entire photography philosophy, as in if you take enough some will be good.
