Sheps, I imagine you as living permanently in a cagoule that doubles a tent, with a camera awning.  I hope you have access to running water and some books at some point.

Let us know the release date of the book.

Great pics as always Sheps. I watched Country File pick their best 12 in last nights episode for next years calendar. I expected them all to be yours!

Dave - I've suggested before that we should get Sheps to do a calendar. We should all definitely approach the 'powers that be' here about it.

He has so many superb photos.
...and a huge collection of stuffed animals of course.... :D
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

@NoraGW - Can we do a calender? Or we could do a calender just for the forum on Photobox or the like?

Is there another formal GW calender - advertised in the magazine, type thing?

Thanks all...you are too kind  :)

As for a Calendar, I think I am going to have to disappoint those of you that think I should do one, sorry.

I had to look up Metadata. It said blah blah blah....
    Loving the stoat Sheps.
The detail on the dove/pigeon/grey bird t'other day was amazing. The texture on it looked like oil painting. Fab!

    Not into a calender @Sheps?

Thanks PP...pleased you like the Stoat and Collard Dove.

As for Metadata, it is information that is embedded within an image and is one way to prove copyright ownership.

I even saved the pic as Collard Dove.
    Memory of a gnat!

@Fire No, not into a calendar unfortunately, I don't have the time or the patience to process the very large image files that are needed for print. Plus, unlike web based images, the post processing for print has to be perfect or there is just no point doing it.
