This meadow is sown every year, really is beautiful, earlier there were other wild flowers which have now gone to seed, we enjoy the reserve, with lovely walks, ponds etc, see a lot of wildlife, a Comma butterfly.

He's stunning Sheps. I can never get near enough those sorts of birds to get a good pic. The b***ers always move. Very inconsiderate of them...
Beautiful sunflowers cornelly. That's the kind of setting where they look at their best.
Not quite wildlife I suppose, as we see them so regularly, but the butterflies are making an appearance regularly now in the garden

Wasps get such a bad press, but this one was helping clear up the big snail I squished one day. Brilliant  :D

woops - power cut just when I was about to post.  :)
Lovely comma, cornelly. I don't think we get them here, though maybe in certain areas.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

I reckon Sheps just has a really big collection of stuffed birds. He's got to be cheating somehow surely.
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

Maybe @Sheps has a massive collection of " the best wildlife photos EVER" and he's just scanning them and claiming them as his own?  ;)

I believe this is a Brown Hawker Dragonfly, patiently waited for me to snap it.

    Not a Brown Hawker...but a Common Darter, Cornelly  :)

Here is another one of my @wild edges Stuffed Animal / @Hostafan1 Ripped Off images, this time a Stoat on the hunt.

Thank God for Image Metadata  ;)
